Creator Nicolas Malleville, a former landscape architect and perfumer, was inspired by the natural tropical scents of the Yucatan region and the landscape, people, culture, and rich history of perfume production. Passionate about exploring the history and captivated by the magic of the Yucatan - Malleville founded Coqui Coqui Perfumeria in 2003 with a dream to recover the monks’ old recipes and mix them along with ancient Maya medicine. Not just a scent, Coqui Coqui is an experience - featuring multiple hotels, each containing a signature fragrance. The beauty of it is being able to take your vacation home with you.
